Most of my readers, I suppose, don't know Steve and Amanda, since Steve and Amanda are college friends, and college is receding ever farther into the past. Your loss. Steve and Amanda, I dare say, rival Steve and Laura in coolness. Which is, of course, really saying something. Hmm. Maybe I should see about introducing them. Too bad they're on opposite coasts.

So, the big news of the week is the arrival of Corin, at 11 lbs, 13 oz. (a fair sight heavier than the predicted 8-11) after an astonishing 42 hours of labor.

I seriously need to update the "baby board" in my carrel. My pictures are getting more out-of-date by the second.
