Three cheers for bureaucratic changes that actually simplify my life

... it's refreshing, really, because so often it's the other way 'round.

Sometime between the last time I took out the recycling and last night, so I'm guessing at the beginning of the month, someone changed all the labels on the recycling bins at our complex. We can drop off mixed paper, not just newspaper, on site, rather than having to take it to the recycling center. And we no longer have to sort cans and bottles into five different categories. Little things, but they make my life easier.

I had not heard or read anything about changes to the residential recycling parameters for apartment-dwellers, but then, I don't take the local paper except on an odd Sunday, so that's not terribly surprising.
