Pickled Monsters
I learned from reading The Metaphysical Club by Louis Menand that Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. saw little use for the education of women. While he allowed that a small fraction of womankind was able to benefit from education, he insisted that "[a] natural law is not disproved by a pickled monster."
I think that "Pickled Monsters" would be a great name for a rock band.
