Thank you, Brian and David, for the moral support -- it really does help.

It is just past 4 a.m., and I am 3/4 of the way through the exam grading. I also have to tally and input the grades for the whole semester, which will take a bit longer. I've already slept a couple of hours tonight, so I'm not running on empty. It's going to get done. I might even get another couple of hours of sleep before the grading conference. (If not before, definitely after.)

What remains are the comprehensive questions that try to cover the whole semester. I've already read through these once (I started with them on Friday), but since these questions are by nature quite broad, making distinctions in the level of accomplishment was tough. Now that I'm into the grading groove, I expect them to be more manageable, even in the middle of the night.
