Post-Op +1

GrandDad's vision in his right eye is still somewhat foggy. The doctor says that's to be expected, considering that the cataract was pretty tough. (It's been there a while!) That means it required more ultrasound energy than average to break it up, and that means that the eye is more inflamed than the average patient. But it should go down over the next week or so. We've got another follow-up appointment next Tuesday, just to make sure that everything is continuing to heal as expected. They gave us another bottle of anti-inflammatory eye drops, so we're set with drugs for the foreseeable future.

GrandDad said last night that the most painful part of the procedure was when they removed the bandage tape that had been holding his head to the stabilizing apparatus.
